For those who don't know our story; we met in early December online in 2019. Our story begins on Twitter.com via a shared hobby. We have always been passionate about our love for Pokemon, little did we know that games we played as children would bring us together years in the future.

We quickly grew very close and fond of each other, spending time on calls, Facetime, and playing games online together. Our official anniversary is January 3rd, 2020. We had made plans to see each other over Daniel's college Spring Break which was quickly dissolved by COVID-19 lockdown. We did not meet in person until August of 2020.

From the first moment we spent together in person, we knew that there was something truly special between us both. We made several different visits between Virginia, where Daniel lived, and Arizona, where Ashley lived.

In August 2022, Ashley and Daniel decided to move in together in Falls Church, Virginia. We traveled across the country with a car packed full of Ashley's things and made it to Virginia in September of 2022. We found our first apartment together and moved to Alexandria, Virginia in March of 2023. Within months we decided to welcome two kitties into our home, they have brought us immeasurable joy, liveliness, and silliness into our lives. We spent the next few years discussing our future plans, and on the night of October 16th, 2024 - Daniel got down on one knee in front of our first apartment, which was now a home, and asked Ashley to spend the rest of her life with him.

After a few life changes later, including moving to the Blue Ridge Mountains, they will be wed on August 30th, 2026. The ceremony will be at Daniel's childhood home, a place that has many fond memories for not only he and his family, but also where Ashley first met Diane and Bammy, Daniel's late Grandmother.
